Olga Vassilieva received the Ph.D. degree in physics from the University of Texas at Dallas, Dallas, TX, USA, in 1999. She is a Research Scientist with 1Finity Inc., a Fujitsu Company, Richardson, TX, USA. Her current research interests include high bit-rate and multi-band transmission systems, advanced optical modulation formats, transmission impairments and transmission impairment mitigation techniques. Dr. Vassilieva is a Senior Member of the IEEE Photonics Society, the author and co-author of numerous scientific papers and holds more than one hundred US patents. She has served as technical program committee member for CLEO-PR 2022, OFC 2025 conferences. She currently serves as technical program committee member for OFC 2026 conference.
