Prof. Fei Xu received his Ph.D. in Optoelectronics in 2008 from the Optoelectronics Research Centre, University of Southampton, UK.
In 2009, He joined the College of Engineering and Applied Sciences, Nanjing University, China，and he has been a Full Professor since 2012. The research interests of the Xu group are in fiber-optic sensors and lasers, integrated optoelectronics devices, optical imaging and measurement technology.
Prof. Xu is a Senior Member of IEEE/OSA/SPIE. He has authored/co-authored over 140 papers, 8 book chapters, and over 40 patents in US and China. He also serves as an Associate Editor for Optics and Laser Technology (Elsevier), and as an Editor for Results in Optics (Elsevier).
