Cheryl Sorace-Agaskar received the S.M. and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical Engineering from MIT in Cambridge, MA, USA and the B.S. degree in Engineering Physics from Cornell University in Ithaca, NY, USA. She is currently a Senior Staff member at MIT Lincoln Laboratory in the Quantum Information and Integrated Nanosystems Group. Her research focuses on integrated photonics technology development across the optical spectrum from UV to IR, for a number of applications including quantum computing and sensing, microwave photonics, sensing and advanced sources. She has received the National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellowship and MIT’s Ida M. Green Fellowship. More recently, she was awarded MIT Lincoln Laboratory’s Early Career Technical Achievement Award. She serves on the technical program committees including for OFC and the IEEE Boston Photonics Society.
