[Webinar] Towards the Quantum Internet

The IEEE Uganda Section, in collaboration with the IEEE Uganda Section Joint Chapter, is pleased to invite you to a professional technical webinar exploring the evolution of quantum communication technologies and the vision of a fully connected Quantum Internet.

This session will provide an overview of foundational concepts such as single-photon communication, quantum entanglement, and Quantum Key Distribution (QKD). It will also address real-world engineering and deployment challenges, including free-space and fiber-optic quantum channels, satellite-based QKD, and the role of supporting classical infrastructure.
