International Symposium on Ultrafast Phenomena and THz Waves (ISUPTW), an international symposium, provides a platform for strengthening the collaboration and exchange among worldwide researchers in academia and industry and promoting the development in Ultrafast and Terahertz science and technology. The biennial symposium, initiated in 2002, has been held in Beijing, Shanghai, Nanjing, Tianjin, Xi’an, Wuhan, Chongqing, Changsha, Chengdu and Qingdao. It brings together scholars, researchers, engineers and students from more than 10 countries and typically hosts about 150-400 participants.
